This smart projector comes presented in a sturdy orange and dark coloured cardboard box with carrying handle and pictures of the projector on it. The display resolution is 1920 x 1080 so full HD, it has NovaGlow optical technology which makes the image and brightness quality much better. It has 1600 lumens and is a daylight projector so you don’t have shut out light to enjoy your big screen time. You can watch in size 40 inches to 150 inches. The sound is very good from the 30W JBL surround sound and Dolby audio that is built in. It has instant image set up so you can get it set up very quickly as it self levels and focuses, with built in Google TV that has over 7000 apps there is something for everyone. You can also pair with Alexa and Google home. All in all an impressive piece of kit if you have the space as it is quite a bit bigger than some of the projectors that are around and could do with a longer power lead that said it is sleek, stylish and modern and feels of high quality. I would happily recommend.

The Yaber K3 projector is an excellent choice if you have the space and a suitable wall for projecting. It performs best in a completely dark room, though it still delivers a solid viewing experience with some ambient lighting. The real standout feature, for me, is the fantastic audio quality. The built-in 2x15W JBL surround sound system delivers clear, powerful sound with rich bass, even at full volume, with no noticeable distortion. The audio alone makes it a great speaker system if you need one! As for the visuals, the automatic image adjustments are nothing short of amazing. The projector self-levels focuses, and adjusts for keystone correction effortlessly. I was particularly impressed when I placed it on an uneven surface balanced on a pillow at a 45-degree angle and the image was perfectly level and correctly shaped. It's also nice to manually adjust the focus via the remote if you want more control. Another useful feature is its auto shut-off function when movement is detected in front of the projector. Although I haven’t used this, it’s a great safety feature for homes with kids or pets who might accidentally look into the light. The built-in Google TV functionality works flawlessly, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its smooth performance even over WiFi. I haven't needed to use any extra cables apart from the power cord, and the remote’s voice control function makes searching for content on apps like YouTube incredibly easy. Aesthetically, the Yaber K3 fits well into any room. Its modern design a central lens surrounded by fabric looks sleek and stylish. If you're not using it for projecting, it still works well as an attractive speaker in your space. In terms of features, with over 7,000 apps available via Google TV, this projector is perfect for a wide range of viewing experiences, from movies and sports to family-friendly content like Disney animations. It's not just about the picture; the immersive sound elevates the experience.

I must have tried about three different projectors before trying this Yaber one and this stands head and shoulders above any of them in terms of quality and features. The build quality is exceptional as is the ease of use - some of these are fairly complicated to use and feel really flimsy - not this though. First of all, if you're new to using these, they can be quite daunting. This has great instructions and I would recommend you read them through before setting it all up. Once you have, you'll find it easy to do so there is nothing to be scared about (I'm a 55 year old woman and I've managed it). The most difficult part of all of of this is choosing a place to display this on. We have opted to use this on a blind as we have textured wallpaper on our walls and the picture is really, really good. There is ONE issue we have with it and that is the length of the cord - it needs to be longer! Right now, we are having to use this on an extender in order to be able to place it where we want it and I don't think that should be the case when you're spending this sort of money. We really do rate the sound. It's full of depth and not tinney at all. It uses the Google TV service flawlessly and we have yet to experience any issues with that. Even the kids love using it. Let's be honest here, they're more tech savvy then their parents so are probably getting more out of it than we ever could.

I'm very impressed with this projector. The image quality is very good. The sound quality is excellent for a projector, with good clear tones and reasonable bass - although I much prefer to use my home cinema system for the sound. Focus is adjusted automatically, and then keystone is automatically adjusted right after - and both do the job extremely well and make setting up the projector really simple and fast! I did need to do a very quick adjustment to make it perfectly in focus, but that's very likely to be my eyes that needed it adjusted slightly - in any case, it's very easily done. Connecting to the internet gives options of apps, and casting from phones etc. I appreciate the inclusion of a LAN port, meaning I can hard wire it to the internet. It's pretty quiet when running, but does have some fan noise, and doesn't also have a "quiet mode". It puts out some heat while running too! The image quality will not replace my OLED TV for example, but it will give a decent picture on a large scale, and is perfect for the big football match. In general, colours are good, the image is clean, clear, has good brightness, and is detailed. The menu is well laid out and clear, making this easy to use, and very easy to switch inputs etc. there are various options and presets for image and sound, so you can easily select them and see which you prefer. The remote control is simple but also clear and easy to use, and is responsive from various angles too. Overall, I'm very pleased, and I definitely recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. TL;DR: I loved the picture, immersive high quality sound and standard Android TV OS with ability to connect to most of the stuff you need for home cinema experience. What can be improved is some kind of mounting system, such as a bracket for mounting on ceiling like some alternative has. This model seems to be intended for table tops or shelves. Let’s go through basics: As soon as you unbox this projector, you know you’re dealing with a serious piece of equipment. Projector form, weight and materials used are convincingly high quality. I loved the fabric on the front side covering JBL speakers which looks modern and high-tech. SETUP: Setup was very easy, after powering up the projector (BTW it is rated and can work on both 110 and 220V just in case you’d like to bring it in EU), the projector goes through initiation phase and finds perfect focus given its position. Projector will recalibrate every time when it senses its changed position which is great as there is not much need to play with manual calibration and focus. Focus is available on a remote which is very well made and looks like standard high quality AV equipment. Anyways, after connecting the projector to WiFi, you are offered to connect it with your Google account so you can start installing apps. Of course, if you want to use an external HDMI source, you can skip this step. Since the projector has USB and Bluetooth, I would recommend, before proceeding with any setup, just plug-in your mouse/keyboard and thank me later as typing account credentials is very painful when using only the remote and on-screen keyboard. Ok, with Google account up&running you can pick your favorite apps. I tried YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Browser TV Web and, of course, Plex. I still have certain reservations when it comes to devices connecting to my LAN, so I have 3 WiFi levels. I’ve put the projector in the semi-trusted, with limited access to my NAS, so I can use my local Plex server. PICTURE: Picture is very impressive but despite 1600 lumens, it will be slightly “washed” in lit conditions. But as soon as you are in dark conditions, it’s totally amazing. I have to be honest, I tried one projector with 600 lumens, I can’t say I see much difference however, I didn’t run a side-by-side comparison so don’t take this one as scientific fact. SOUND: Sound is where this projector seriously stands out. I’m blown away with speaker depth and I guess JBL alone is justification for the high price. Would I still use bluetooth speakers to pull out even more - probably yes, just to push it to another level if you’re setting it up as a home cinema in the basement. But trust me on this one, you won’t need any of these hussle and extra expenses with these deep sound experiences. I didn't even punch it to the maximum, I was afraid that neighbors would go crazy :-) So the sound is totally fantastic, above my expectations. ANDROID TV OS: I already mentioned a couple of apps that I used. For me the most important thing is YT, as I'm a subscriber and most of the content I watch on YT. However, on top of that I also tried Bell TV (though I’m not a big fan of live TV). I’d like to point out that Android TV OS is not exactly the same as regular Android, so there are some limitations. For example, I’m missing Android Remote Desktop to access - because why not? However you can install AnyDesk as an alternative (but it’s not RDP protocol), next one is Chrome which doesn’t exist but you can use alternatives like the aforementioned “Browser TV Web”. I’ve tried connecting to my RaspberryPi iSpy server (Agent DVR) and the surveillance was on the big screen! Amazing! NOISE and POWER CONSUMPTION: In this area, this projector is power hungry. As per spec it will draw up to 300W which is a lot (compared to alternatives that I tested before which consumed only 75W). Of course, as with any projector, you can expect some heat. I can’t really compare if it’s about the same or hotter than others but you can count there will be some heat coming out and as with any heat, a built-in vent will ensure normal operation and that is noisy. I’d say it’s acceptable. I’ve heard much noisier projectors but it’s not silent. Now 1M$ question is do you really care? With JBL speakers in cinema arrangements, I see no problem at all. But if you use it for surveillance or network monitoring stuff (in browser), then yes, in silent conditions you can expect some vent noise. Again, not too bad, my laptop cooler pad is in about the same range of noise - just to give you an idea. Conclusion: This is an amazing projector where I’m only missing a bracket that can rotate it to project a picture on the ceiling and as I mentioned - or to be mounted on the ceiling. In terms of price, this is an expensive projector. At the time of my order it was 799.99$ but with a 128.00$ discount you could get it for 672$. Still expensive compared to the alternative that I’ve tested before which was only 300$. What makes this price difference? I’d say 2 major features: 1600 lumens (vs 600) and an amazing JBL speaker. Overall, this is 5 star product and I won’t decrease score because of high price (though I was on the edge) Final verdict: 5 stars

The sound on this is definitely better than the vast majority of projectors. It does fall flat on bass, and isn't all that surprising, considering it lacks a subwoofer. There is apparently a pro version of this, and the only difference is it comes with a subwoofer. If you are looking to use this entirely as is, without an external sound system, then get the pro. If you are just going to hook it up to a receiver and your own sound system, then get this one. There's no point in paying extra for a subwoofer you won't use. As it is, it sounds better than most TV speakers, at least. I could survive watching a movie with this without being too annoyed. However, there's a giant sound system just sitting there with dozens of speakers, so...yeah, I just hooked it up to that. It's not a huge projector, but it does manage quite a nice image to go along with the decent sound. I have several cheap projectors that have gone missing somewhere on the farm (try living in what amounts to an entire town of your relatives with multiple houses and see what happens to your stuff), and this definitely has a nicer picture than any of them. It obviously doesn't measure up to my aunt's 4k native laser projector that cost thousands of dollars, but this doesn't cost thousands of dollars. If you absolutely have to have the best, with a picture that is so good that it confuses your eyes into thinking that you are looking at a TV and not a projected image, yeah, you still need to break the bank. I'm not saying this looks bad, it just doesn't look as good as something that has parts that cost more than it does. Brightness is a very obvious advantage of this projector over the cheap ones. Once again, it doesn't cost as much as a used car, so it's not going to beat a laser projector at brightness, but it does work when the room isn't pitch black, unlike the cheap projectors. You'll still want the blinds closed. If you have sheer curtains and a brightly lit room, this isn't going to work well in that. I'd say this is the brightest 3 figure priced projector I have seen. Setup is surprisingly easy. It's honestly about as easy as a modern smart TV. It doesn't take a tech genius to get yourself signed into whatever streaming app you want to use and get something streaming. It also doesn't take very long. The OS looks an awful lot like my Samsung S90D OLED in some regards. The apps scroll across the bottom and you just pick one and then go up to the app. It's all very easy. So, it's probably the best sub-$1,000 projector I have encountered. The sound is decent, but I'd get the pro version if you want to use the built in sound because it has a subwoofer. If you're an audiophile, you aren't going to use the built in speakers anyway, so just get this one.
